Bang
"I came out doing Cher and everybody called me the Bang Bang girl. At seven, I pushed two piano benches together perpendicular to the sofa and that was my runway. I turned on the radio, wore my mom's shoes and peach wrap around skirt with my boy's T-Shirt and played Miss America. I faithfully watched Wonder Woman and culti-vated friendships with women. I did a lot of theater, but stage fright con-stantly affected my stage live perfor-mances until I discovered drag. By putting on a face, I gained confidence, now you can't get me off the stage, like it or not."
