"'Scarlet came from the B side of a
Bananarama single. A couple of guys
bet me that I wouldn't do drag so I made a dress (my mom taught me to
sew), put on lipstick and liner and away I went. I had my own waist length hair at the time which enhanced my performance so well that fortunately for me I won. Now I'll do drag until I die."
