Wildside
Paddy Aldridge's
Take a Walk on the Wildside is a business geared to Crossdressers,
Transvestites, Drag Queens, Transsexuals, All Transgendered People,
Their Spouses, Friends, and Lovers. Wildside has been in business
since 1987 (August 1 to be exact) and has become an institution.
Thousands of people from all corners of the globe have taken their
first steps at Wildside. Many continue to return regularly to renew
their connection for Wildside has become their second home. At Wildside
people experience acceptance. They feel normal.
Nestled in
the heart of historic neighborhood Cabbagetown, we are located across
from beautiful Allen Gardens. And we're just a few blocks from Toronto's
downtown, the Gay Village, The Eaton's Center, friendly restaurants,
theaters, cinemas, public transit and within easy reach of Toronto's
famous landmarks.
Our building
is discreetly located and completely private. There is just a small
plaque on the door. Inside you will find our boutique, club and
hotel and of course, many friendly people.
The Wildside
Boutique is fully stocked. Our staff is courteous, discreet and
helpful with the goal to make your shopping experience pleasant.
Visit us and browse to your hearts content. Blair, Julie and Paddy
are all available to assist you in becoming the woman of your dreams.
On the lower level is our private transformation and makeup room.
There is a private washroom as well. We have many outfits and looks
we can do for you. Some customers know esactly what they want, some
leave it up to us. Whatever you want, we will do out best.
The Club lounge
is located on the second floor and it transforms as well. Sometimes
it is a small theater called Paddy's
Playhouse and sometimes it is a Karaoke
Lounge. It is also an Art Gallery and the home of Paddy's
Art.
In this room you will find a collection of literature and videos,
high speed Internet computer and a comfortable lounge. Club members
also have access to the wonderful makeup facilities on the third
floor featuring large mirrors with excellent lighting and a large
washroom with shower, face cloths, towels and makeup remover.
Many of our
guests find this an ideal place to prepare for the days events.
Attendance at the club does not require a membership, however there
is a small fee per visit to cover the cost to maintain this excellent
facility.
The Wildside
Hotel offers cozy, clean, comfortable rooms, access to all club
facilities and overnight parking. Many of our guests combine an
overnight stay with a transformation or makeover to spend the most
time en-femme.
Services offered
include makeup sessions, makeup lessons, transformations (everything
to transform you into the woman of your dreams) custom made clothes,
and garment and breast form fittings. We plan to offer more services
soon.
